Meet Our Executive Board Members

Lindsey Zima
Co-President
Lindsey Zima is serving her second term as PTO co-president. She and her husband Adam have lived in Niskayuna since 2012. Their two daughters attend Hillside -- Adelaide (10) is a fifth grader and Emma (8) is a third grader. Their son Isaac (9th grade/14 years old) attends Niskayuna High School and Elliott (7th grade/12 years old) attends Van Antwerp.
Lindsey Pepe
Co-President
Lindsey Pepe is serving her first year as PTO co-president. Originally from Stephentown, NY, Lindsey and her family moved to Niskayuna in 2011. Lindsey is married to Alessandro and they have four children, two are at Hillside Elementary, Jacob 8 (3rd), Gavino 6 (1st). Lindsey is an Accounting Manager for D&D Power in Latham. She enjoys her yearly trips to Cape Cod with her family, cooking and baking, and watching her children play baseball and soccer. Lindsey is excited to be part of the PTO and Hillside community!
Amanda Mahar
Vice President
Amanda Mahar served two years as Hillside PTO treasurer; this is her first year as vice president. Amanda grew up in Niskayuna -- she's a proud Nisky grad who settled a whole mile from her childhood home! She and her husband, Shane, have two kids - Jack (9) is in fourth grade and Emma (7) is in second grade. Amanda is a Managing Director for The Lecce Group and the Executive Director of the Upper Union Street BID. She also serves as co-president for Niskayuna Special Education PTA (SEPTA).
Lauren Bryant
Treasurer
Lauren Bryant served one term as PTO secretary and is on her second term as treasurer. Originally from Syracuse, Lauren and her husband Jim have lived in Niskayuna since 2005. They have three children: Noelle (14) is in ninth grade at NHS, Owen (12) is a seventh grader at VA, and Evan (10) is in fifth grade at Hillside. Lauren is a Professor in the Communication Department at the University at Albany. She loves to travel, hike, ski, and go on adventures with her family.
Secretary
Hilary is serving her first term as PTO secretary and as a relative newcomer to the district and area, she is thrilled to meet new people and become involved in the school and community. Hilary has lived in Niskayuna since September 2022. She has two daughters: Caroline (8) and Josephine (4). Hilary is the Principal at Boght Hills Elementary School in North Colonie. She loves cooking, playing outside and going on lots of little adventures with her girls.
