Amanda Mahar
Co-President
Amanda Mahar served two years as Hillside PTO treasurer; two years as Vice President and now is serving her second year as Co-President. Amanda grew up in Niskayuna -- she's a proud Nisky grad who settled a whole mile from her childhood home! She and her husband, Shane, have two kids - Jack (7th Grade) and Emma (5th Grade). Amanda is a Managing Director for The Lecce Group and Co-Chair of Niska-Day.
Brenda Shannon
Co-President
Brenda Shannon is serving her third year on the PTO. Brenda Shannon spent her first two years serving as the Ways & Means Coordinator and is now serving as the Co-President of the PTO. Brenda has two children, Evelyn, and Cooper. Brenda is a paralegal for New York State’s Protection and Advocacy firm and is also a dance teacher at Dance Me in Niskayuna, NY. Brenda enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and giving back to her community.

Andrew Minnick
Treasurer
Andrew Minnick is serving his second year as PTO Treasurer. Andrew was raised in Latham and moved to Niskayuna with his family in 2020. Andrew is married to Lindsey and they have two children, Nathan (6) and Connor (4). Andrew is a Private Wealth Manager for Curran Wealth Management in Albany. Andrew enjoys camping, swimming, and exploring the outdoors with his family. Andrew is glad to be a part of the Hillside team!
Secretary
Hilary is serving her third term as PTO secretary and as a relative newcomer to the district and area, she is thrilled to meet new people and become involved in the school and community. Hilary has lived in Niskayuna since September 2022. She has two daughters: Caroline (6th Grade) and Josephine (2nd Grade). Hilary is the Principal at Boght Hills Elementary School in North Colonie. She loves cooking, playing outside and going on lots of little adventures with her girls.
