Please Complete the District’s Returning Student Registration Process Which Includes a Section on Reopening

 

Niskayuna families received information this week that the Returning Student Registration process is available to be completed. This is the way in which families provide accurate contact information and student medical information. It also contains questions related to reopening schools this year, which is necessary for the district in its planning.

 

The district has asked all families to complete it this week. They are hoping for a 100% completion rate, but they are not there yet.

 

To get started: visit the Niskayuna PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal login page at https://powerschool.niskyschools.org/  and sign into your account. From there, select the student you wish to register, and click on the Returning Student Registration link on the left side of the page.

 

If you need help, please e-mail techsupport@niskyschools.org.

 

If you do not have a Parent Portal account, a letter is being mailed to you with the information needed to create an account.

NISKY NOW

(Nutrition on Weekends)

NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!

 

We are also providing meals to students during our school closure due to COVID-19 

 

 Nisky NOW (Nutrition on Weekends) is a program that provides a weekly delivery of food to families of students in need.  Currently we roughly account for 50 families in our community.  Just $10 a week helps to provide food for those families in need. 

 

The fastest way to help make a difference for these families in need is to please send a donation

 directly to Nisky NOW, PO Box 132, 1737 Union Street, Niskayuna, NY 12309. Checks can be made out to the Nisky NOW

If your family would benefit from the program, you may request confidential assistance by contacting Jessica Brennan at jbrennan@niskyschools.org or at 377-4666, ext. 14602. Faculty and staff members may also make confidential referrals to Nisky NOW by contacting Mrs. Brennan.

Hillside PTO Reimbursement

Vendor Payment Request Form

These forms are to be used by individuals requesting reimbursement for personal funds used to support PTO activities or to initiate direct payment to a vendor invoice. To request payment, fill out the form and submit it to the committee chairperson for approval. If the chairperson does not exist or is not available, submit the form to either of the PTO co-presidents for approval. The treasurer is not able to make a payment without them . Be sure to attach associated receipts/invoices with reimbursable expenses identified.

The District is starting to move away from using paper flyers, so make sure you're CHECKING THE PTO WEBSITE OFTEN to KEEP UPDATED ON WHATS NEW WITH HILLSIDE PTO!
